Neo
Neo, It is not necessary to report primes that are not in the top-5000 of all time in this thread. We don't have any formal place to report these smaller primes. We just accumulate them and add them to the applicable post and show who found them as we go along. I have changed the title of this thread to add "top-5000" to the verbiage. Sorry about any confusion. Gary |

Finally--I've at long last found a prime on the 7th Drive! :big grin: (It may not seem like a long time just considering the 7th Drive, but when you count all the time I spent on the 5th and 6th trying to find a prime...yeah, it's been a while.)
921*2^866334-1 is prime! This is my first top-5000-worthy NPLB prime that I've found since June 2009! (I reported one in September 2010 but that was actually one of Gary's that he "gave" me because he lost a bet.)   Okay, that's enough celebration...after all, it's just another 7th Drive prime, one of which is not supposed to be too hard to obtain. |

Hopefully my drought of NPLB primes will end too - I've done 10857 candidates with 0 primes on port 9000. But I can't complain too much, as I recently got a large top 5000 prime on CRUS's base 16. And 10857 is not nearly as bad as how many you had with 0 primes! (~36598 on port 9000) |
It's about time! lol Anyway, congrats. When counting port 9000 and the CRUS port, I think you had gone over 50,000 pairs without a prime; a remarkable drought.

295K digits, PrimeGrid's Proth Primes are rapidly approaching 300K digits (after having been below 200K for quite some time, as we finished through n=666666). This is my 52nd top5000 prime, of which 46 are still on the list; puts me at 18th on the top20 list by number of primes. (Sorry: primegrid primes count?) -Bruce |

Odicin has two top-5000 primes from port 9000 that need to be reported.
I have sent an Email to his last known Email address, that is the one that the server sends notifications to. |

I knew there was a reason why I left one quad on port 9000 even after moving everything else to CRUS 1400...well, that and the fact that the box is 300 miles away and is somewhat of a pain to mess with remotely. |
Yeah, nice-n-juicy at this level.
