@Zach - it took me a while to get used to it too. Prime = new prime = added (to Top 5000 database) you want these critters :) Confirmed = old prime that you double checked and don't get ANY (!) recognition for [not fair I know] = already in database (at Top 5000 database) you don't want these beasts :( Have stern words to your computer and tell it to go find some new primes! |

Yes - I'll do that...:missingteeth: ...but - as you may noticed I'm runnin' against the IB5000-server, and I'm not alone doin' that... and 'the other guy' is a real tough one - grabbin' (almost) all the primes (critters and beasts)... it's a hard world out there... |

Oh no... Vaughan outruns me 10 to 1 !!! Well.. at least 5 to 1.... so I just pick up the pieces after he has ridin' over the 'kn-pairs' with his tremendous 'GHz-powah':batalov: |
Zach,
Just to let you know, you got a little unlucky to find the "confirmed" prime. For the 5th and 6th drives that run on ports IB4000 and IB5000, at most 10% of the effort is a double check so about 10% of the primes will have been already found. Gary |

the next (hope not last) from the first 6 k's mini-drive.[/quote] Nice prime--congratulations! BTW, to all: if some of you wouldn't mind concentrating some resources on the first 6-k minidrive (port G8000) until it's dried, it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to get this port dried before we move all the servers over to Gary's new server; the less port number overlaps we have to resolve, the better. I myself will be shifting an entire quad to G8000 in about a week or so when its current workload finishes, and I've sent an email to Gary asking him to join in as well. |
495*2^712468-1 is prime (Thanks for the PM Gary).
