You could always do manual Drive 1 work instead of LLRnet drive 1 work.
That would be just as boring. It's still only one kind of search effort. I like a little more variety. For instance, right now I'm running k=303 & 309 for n>600K (actually at n=~900K now) from the individual-k drive, k=147 for Max, as well as Riesel base 256 and Sierp base 12 over at CRUS with Sierp base 31 occassionally running on my laptop and desktop in between some misc. stuff I'm working on on those slower machines. Most recently I had 4 quads running k=47 and 53 to n=1M until that was done after completing a double-check of Curtis's mini-drive for his 9 k's in our range up to n=500K.
After the 1st drive is done, I'll likely pick up some double-check work for n=100K-260K and some k=1005-2000 work while leaving 2-4 machines running n>600K on one of our k=400-1001 for n=600K-1M drives (likely to be split up into 3 separate drives of k=400-600, 600-800, & 800-1001). I might even suggest that we do the same thing for k=1005-2000 that we did for k=300-1001 before it reached top-5000 range...that is, have 2 drives...one for top-5000 work starting at n=~350K and one to fill in the holes starting at n=50K and bringing it quickly up to n=350K.
Variety is the spice of life and we'll have plenty of it after this drive is done!
