taking 353.8 - 354.0
llring 337.6-337.8 is over 3/4 done
i am up to: 645*2^337754-1
Henry, I don't mean to be a pest but will you be done with your range by the end of February? If not, can I talk you into puting it on high priority? This is the only range that we are waiting for to report all of our primes to Primesearch for n=320K-340K and close the range on all k's there. In the future, I can split a file into an n=100 piece for you. Thank you, Gary |
Reserving 370.0-371.2 (6 files)
I'm going to load 2 files/core on 3 cores so that I'm not maintaining them so much. Carlos, I currently have 7 cores running port 100. Sometime today, I'll be dropping that to 3 on port 100, 3 on port 300, and 1 on CRUS Riesel...which will make a total of 2 on CRUS riesel total. Edit: CRUS Riesel has made excellent progress so I decided to leave just one machine on it. I also had one machine finish up its range of sieving for 300<k<400 so I'm puting it on LLRnet for now. (We're getting very close on 300<k<400!!) So total now...4 on port 300 and 4 on port 100 in addition to the 3 manual machines. Gary |
sorry i will put it on high priority
i hope to finish just before the end of feb i think in future i will use llrnet
Thanks Henry. LLRnet is an excellent choice for people who have remote machines that they have limited access to, want to contribute here and there on a whim, who have limited recources, or who simply don't want to mess with loading files and mailing/posting results. If you have a non-connected machine that you'd like to contribute part-time, I have no problem splitting a file into a smaller piece. Few people here will mind taking the other part of the file combined with another one. As you know, LLRnet wasn't available for the first couple of weeks here. Thanks to Carlos/Anon for getting the ball rolling on it. Gary |
Taking 371.2-371.4 (for me).

353.0-353.4 complete (2 files); 1 prime
Edit: 352.8-353.0 complete; no primes |
Taking 371.4-371.6.
The first post here should be changed to not say to take files from drive 2 for every 3-5 files, since all drive 2 files are reserved. |
