The web pages migration is now complete. I've changed all known affected links for the conjectures, reservations, software, and sieved files.

If you see any links to googlepages web pages anywhere here or if one of the links does not work in some way, please let me know.

For those of you who have CRUS web pages in your favorites, here are the new links:

The googlepages links should work for a while and I will put a redirect in but if you reference the old pages, I can offer no guarantees when they will go bad.

The Sierp base 6 drive has started back up again with manually posted files starting from n=150K. Come and get 'em!

gd_barnes 2009-08-14 05:44

We've now started a sieving drive for Riesel base 6. The file is currently sieved to P=800G and needs to go to P=3T before we can break off n=150K-250K.

Come help us sieve this exciting low base that has only 8 k's remaining!

A note to everyone: I updated the CRUS web pages on my machine up to everyone's status as of the date-time of this post but have been unable to upload them to the noprimeleftbehind site due to a relatively lengthy transitioning phase that it is now going through.

I have an Email into Ironbits requesting a status on the issue.

There was a lot of work done at CRUS on many different bases this last week and hence a lot of web page changes that I just now made and moved up. Please check your statuses and reservations on the pages to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Are you saying that everything on the web pages is up to date? If so, then I'll have to compile a list of stuff that I reserved, finished, or updated that is not reflected on the pages. Example: Most of my work on Sierp Base 3 Mini Drive II is not reflected. I also reserved 200M-300M (480k's) for Sierp Base 3. I reported Riesel Base 27 complete to n=300K and will continue.

More to follow.

Okay Gary, I'm up to date now with the exception of:

Sierp Base 3 k=200M-300M to n=50k which I reserved. I'm halfway finished.

Nice job catching up.

HUH??

The Sierp base 3 mini drive II and Riesel base 27 efforts were completely updated as of 3 AM CDT this morning. The only thing that I was aware of at that time that isn't reflected is your finishing of Sierp base 183 to n=25K. That status came in after I was in the process of uploading the pages.

Keep in mind that on the base 3 mini drives, all I end up doing is removing k's, reducing counts, and updating the range that has been searched. For the Sierp side, primes n<70K are not shown anywhere.

I see that I missed you reserving k=200M-300M for Sierp base 3. I'll update that and the Sierp base 183 effort later today. Thanks for pointing it out.

Wow, that's a lot of base 3 work...Riesel k<100M for n=75K-100K, Sierp k=100M-200M for n=60K-100K, and Sierp k=200M-300M for n=25K-50K. You won't get bored will you?

There's too many base 3 threads! lol But I had to have them. It was too hard to follow otherwise.

I have unstickied all 4 base 3 threads so that we now have a somewhat reasonable # of stickies. Ian has reserved the remaining files on the two mini drives and the base, as a whole, is considered low priority for the project once the mini drives are complete.

I think the CRUS faithful and some others might be interested in this:

Now take a look at the Sierp conjectures web page for base 18.

Don't anyone say anything more. We'll wait for Daniel (Xentar) to make the official announcement in the primes thread.

gd_barnes 2009-10-14 11:02

I've now completed many changes to the web pages as a result of the large amount of varied work that we did last week. This was a fun update!

Let me know if I missed anything.
