Those 2 k's (4421*10^n-1 and 7666*10^n+1) are already reserved by cruelty to an unknown upper limit.
I don't know if that will count as a reservation limit, but I will test both until I find a prime for each :boxer: |
Hi. I have a question about R15.
I'm wondering if any work has been done on it above the k=5M mark.
No. |

I'm just curious. What range do you sieve when you start a potentially open-ended job like this? How do you determine an optimum sieve n-range and P-limit? |

For this "project" I have sieved all initial k's together using sr2sieve until n=1M. As for P-limit I go with classic approach: measure iteration time at approx 2/3 of a range, and when sieving efficiency is below LLR-test efficiency, I freeze the sieve. Right now I am sieving S10 in the range 1M<n<2M, and continue testing R10 till n=1M. |
R7
Reserving R7 20M-110M to n=50K.
|
reserving R15, k=5M to 10M for nupto 50K
(first part done, file sent to Gary, 432 k left at n 2500, 45 at 25000) |
status report
S10 tested till n=1M (sieving 1M<n<2M range)
R10 tested till n=890000 |
S30
S30 tested n=300K-500K - nothing found
Results emailed - base released |
R15 & S15
Reserving R15-3M-5M to n=100K
Reserving S15 2M-5M to n=100K |
Did I mention I hate your speed MyDogBuster (I can't match up yours, that's the size of it)?
