this time i'll take low enough so i can do it.. R19, Nmin30k Nmax50k (if nobody already took it)
this time i'll take low enough so i can do it.. R19, Nmin30k Nmax50k (if nobody already took it)
I estimate this will take a minimum of 5-8 months to take the 1486k's to n=50K. This is a lot of work.
Edit. My estimate is for 8 full time cores. |
sieving atm, 1.0M test left, with a removal rate of 1300 k per min.
Low n take 20-24 second, High n take 70. average of 45 second. In the worst case, with 1 core, it will take 520days, barring any further sieving. I don't intend to stop sieving right now^^. |
Firejuggler, quit hopping around and do some calculations on how much work you are reserving before reserving it. Doing R19 to n=50K is way too much work for 2 cores.
Mathew already has R19 reserved to n=50K. See the reservations page. He's working it with what appears to be ~12-16 cores and it will still take probably ~2 months. We have many bases that have 3 or 4 k's remaining at n=25K. Consider taking those to n=50K but be sure to check the reservations pages first. Ian (MyDogBuster) is working on quite a few of them. That's about the right amount of work for 2 cores. |
S7 (3M<k<4M) is done to n<=300K: 4 primes, 1 k remained. Base released, data sent.
S27 is currently at 501K, continuing to 550K. No primes, obviously. |
