Short update:

s17: just a little progress. n=790K
s19 is somewhere at n=43K at the moment, 915 k remaining.

By the way: I am thinking about buying a new machine. Does anyone have some information (benchmarks) of the AMD x6 1090T?
Or you think, it's better to wait now?

From what I've heard of the closely related 1055T, it's a very good buy--you get 6 cores for about the same price as 4 cores on an i5. While not quite as fast as the Intel per-core, it's much more competitive than the original Phenoms (which Gary has 6 of and has not been particularly impressed with). At any rate, the addition of two more cores vs. the i5 more than makes up for the per-core speed hit.

The 1090T is clocked a little higher than the 1055T and is $100 more. I would expect that with a decent cooler you could overclock a 1055T to approximate the speed of a 1090T yet save a load of money. Even without overclocking, I'd still go for the 1055T; my gut tells me that the difference in clock speed is not going to make enough of a difference in actual practice to be worth $100.

I'll need the primes on S19 for n>=40K to update the testing limit.

Riesel base 30

Hi all,

I'll be taking some k's from riesel 30 from 140,000 to 200,000.
