Just wanted to tell: I am back.
Paused testing during the summer.. it was hot, and I didn't need a CPU heating here ;)

Using WinPFGW now, too. And I have to say: It is fast. No, it is not just fast, it is DAMN fast! LLR of 244*17^367***+1 needed about 20,000 seconds for a test, PFGW just needs 4,000. :D

Sierp. base 30 is complete to n=220K, no primes. Releasing; results are attached for 100K-220K. (My original reservation went up to 250K, but I decided to cut it short since things were taking significantly longer than I had originally expected.)

Edit: Oh, I almost forgot, here's the rest of my sieve file, which goes up to n=500K. It will definitely need more sieving to bring n>220K up to an optimal level.

(BTW, in case anyone's wondering how the heck I got two attachments on one post, there's a trick to that: post the second attachment separately, then merge the two posts together.)

Yeah--too bad it only works if you're a mod in the particular forum where you want to do it. Of course, there's no limit on whose posts a mod can merge together within their jurisdiction--for example, a non-mod could post two attachments separately and a mod could later merge them together.

Reserving base 26 (both sides) for sieving n=100K-500K (250K-500K on the Riesel side).

Sierp base 31 is at n=18K; 46 primes found for n=17K-18K. 1359 k's remain.

Pausing now to do some more sieving for n=18K-25K.

Sieving for base 26 (both sides) has reached the point where I've broken off n=100K-250K. Attached is the 100K-250K sieve file for posting on the web. Note that this only covers the Sierpinski side, since the Riesel side is already complete to 250K.

I'll continue sieving the 250K-500K portion of the sieve file, and will probably go until it's optimal at least up to 350K-400K or so. I'll need to do some more testing to figure out what the optimal removal rate will be for this, but it will probably be at least a few more T of sieve depth.

Reserving Sierp base 26 for n=100K-200K. I may take it to n=250K depending on what I think when I hit n=200K.

Status report

Base 10 (Riesel + Sierpinski) checked till n=300000. I'm still working on it.

Reserving Riesel base 22 n=200K to 220K. (this is the one with just one k left, should take about a week from when I start) Will begin once I finish my FoB reservation (about Oct 16), assuming the sieve to 7T is complete.
