I added a core starting at 3900 and going until I get tired to 4000 ( 28 numbers tested so far). I'll post my progress every month or two.

After my issues with my family of shutting off the electricity on my laptop I am now full power on this k=5. 5 cores and more to come as I settle on my new home.

I have 40 cores (cluster) available here at the lab to use. I already got permission. I need a guide or something like that to run llrnet or prpclient under linux to distribute work through all cores. Need linux files server and linux files for the client, all 64 bit.
I already prepared range from 3910-3980 to be tested manual on a dual Xeon machine ( 8C/16T).

Carlos - I recorded my experiences of getting PRPNet server running under Debian here: http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=18455. This will also work with Ubuntu and it should be similar under other distributions but the package names may vary. If you can get the server to compile, then the client will compile.

Note that I haven't been able to get the PRPNet 5.2.x series to compile with gcc so I am still using 5.0.8. There are a couple of lines that lead to a link error.

Ok David, I'll check that out. Meanwhile the 8 core machine is already doing manual LLR. I will try to put the rest of the cores with prpclient.
