The first unreserved block is 1430 to 1450. I emailed it to you this evening.

I finally have a free machine to finish the last few tests for 1320 to 1350; it should wrap up in a week or so. I'm reserving 1450 to 1460 for that machine also.

Other forum members have completed 1350 to 1420 and sent me results- thanks, folks. 1420 to 1430 is not complete yet, but reserved.

For those who may be interested, a 10k block has ~500 tests.

Okay, thanks!

1320 to 1350 complete, no primes.

1350 to 1420 were completed by various members this year, so we are now complete to 1420k.

Adam has sent me results for 1420-1430 and 1480-1500.

I have 1450-1480 active on two machines, should be done near the end of November (slow machines).

The sieve is active again, at 340T for candidates above 1.6M. There is one 20k block remaining below 1.6M- Adam, do you want it? If not, perhaps Lennart would like to feed his bazillion-core monster the ~1000 candidates to get us to 1.6M by the end of 2008.

1500 through 1580 are complete already; the 1400's were left untested by a bit of oversight on my part, while the 1500's were handed out early and completed by various RPS members.

If by this you mean my 1430K-1450K range, don't worry, I didn't give up on it--I've had to shift my resources away from it temporarily, but I should be able to put some back on it soon and definitely plan to finish it.

No, Matt, I meant 1580-1600.

Please do let me know if you fail to get it done by the end of the year, though.

Actually, it's Max, not Matt. (Though I guess Matt would be as good a guess as any given my username.)

As for my range (that is, 1430-1450), though, yes, I plan to get it done before the end of the year--no later than mid-December at the absolute latest, unless something goes completely crazy on my end.

At the size he found, there's no way we could hope to test each k that high. One would have to have inside knowledge of which k's and what levels he would attack.

It is likely he is testing less than 25% of the ranges for the k's he is testing, suggesting we are losing <25% of our primes. This is unfortunate, but it does not deter me from running these tests.

Max, thanks for the results.
