Indeed it is not mersenne.
2/3*3/4=1/2 isn't either. |
Just for giggles, I think the election will be Al Gore and Barack Obama vs. John McCain and Jennifer Granholm
She can't run for VP. She doesn't qualify. |
I am not in favour of an 'Obama ' president, for several reasons, which I
would prefer played out.
Ok, I will bite. What, pray tell, are your "several reasons" that you "would prefer played out"? |

You do realize that you just asked this question of a person who in his next post thought it worth mentioning that "1/2 is not a Mersenne prime", don't you? |
I know, but sometimes my curiosity gets the better of me...

OK, but don't say you weren't warned. ;) "Obama reaches out to right-wing math conservatives: Says irrationality of sqrt(2) 'just a theory', schools should 'expose students to contrary views'." |

OK, she should run on a ticket with Arnold  Meanwhile, over on Blog Newsweek: Al Gore on the second ballot: A scenario that a few weeks ago seemed preposterous is beginning to look plausible to some nervous Democrats looking for a way out of the deadlock between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. .... .... A Gore-Obama ticket would be unstoppable, the thinking goes, matching the presumptive Republican nominee, McCain, on national security and experience, while embodying a powerful message of change. http://www.blog.newsweek.com/blogs/stumper/archive/2008/02/15/al-gore-to-the-rescue.aspx |
OTOH, Gore-Clinton would make a cute extension to all those almanac summary listings of U.S. presidential administrations.
("..., ...-Bush, ...-Bush, Bush-..., Clinton-Gore, Clinton-Gore, Bush-..., Bush-..., Gore-Clinton, ...") There's at least one suburb that names its streets after U.S. presidents (last names only), in chronological order. If Gore-Clinton were successful, then Tipper got into it, we could have even more "Clinton-Gore" administrations ... (then there's Jeb Bush for the GOP turns ...) ... and call it the "Family Values" epoch of U.S. history. |
"Smear Campaign 2008" Kicks Off!
Is it my imagination, or is this basically the tactics Team Clinton have adopted in the past several weeks? Is this the kind of "change" Bill the Shill and Hill the Shrill are offering - the same old gutter politics?

If Obama takes office singing kumbayah, the likes of Putin, Sarkozy, and Hu will rip him apart. Hillary is a tough gal. Obama needs to show some muscle and punch her in the nose. |
