And India have won in a thrilling finish.

That used to be a joke even among us Yanks, but now that MLB is attracting the best baseball talent from all over the globe [much like the NHL, though in that case there never was an analogous issue with the league trophy name], one could argue that the Wolrd Series is at least somewhat approximating what it so boldly proclaims itself to be.

Well, I'm not surprised you didn't know what they were. If you started throwing around TLAs of sports organizations that are in the UK, I'd be completely lost too. (But I'd probably just type them into Wikipedia or Google instead of posting.)

Posting is often easier and a lot more fun:smile:

Yeah, I think Mally would have enjoyed India beating Pakistan in such a close Twenty20 final. He definitely followed cricket with interest.

Hi

Thanks for your message. My father had a friend who used to assist him with his computer skills, he had written down all his user names and passwords on a piece of paper and had told her where to locate it. This enabled us to get onto the forum and also to his email providers

Thanks Again

Warren
How old was Mally, I wonder?

And didn't he mention a paper he'd submitted that he claimed proved a conjecture(sorry for being vague, I don't remember the details) that would win him some money if correct? If the paper is deemed correct, how do you award money when the winner is dead?
Hi

Thanks for your reply and well wishes

My dad was 68 Years old, he was in good health and had gone for a medical check up just weeks before he passed away. He was given the 'all clear', guess my Father would say that it was Gods will

Thanks Again

Warren
