Again, this is a very minor performance hit, and if the poll shows that everyone is just dying to have it back, we'll make it so.
You may notice that our home page and top navigation bar are very stripped down compared to other vBulletin installations. Some people like all the additional doo-dads and some people don't. We do know that when they are all turned on they use a lot of resources.
Our goal is to make accessing information simple and efficient. Sometimes forums get so complicated and over-featured they lose sight of their intended mission.
