Cool plot. You can drop the legend on the bottom. Do you have a total expos in range figure for each period? Or total kills?

WsF 2008-03-25 13:15

This has been done basing on data provided in this thread. For the PrimeNet not the LMH since the lower limit of exponents (25M) does not change.

why did the overall number of exponents go up?
are there still exponents at less than 62 bits? is that the reason?

1997rj7 2008-03-31 19:09

The reason is that my program to get the stats needs a little work. The stats for 31 March should be OK, but the previous run had an error (100K worth of exponents were omitted).

cheesehead 2008-04-01 00:59

How did you get your TF-limit data for 31 March (and earlier dates)? In the past, I presumed you used factor.cmp from http://www.mersenne.org/gimps/, but that hasn't been updated since 4 Feb.

1997rj7 2008-04-01 02:54

Yes, I used to use nofactor.cmp to do it.

Now I have written a program to parse the V5 report to create a nofactor file.

Average bit number in the PrimeNet is 65.008512(=[62*29942+...+74*1]/1251196). Wow!
