Reserving k=9 from n=3M

I started to test the range k=51, n = 2.5M to 3.3M at 19 Oct 2010.
More than 60% finished, no primes. By the way, I'm still using the LLR program Version 3.8.0.. is the current version faster? Are there any benchmarks? |
k=165 complete up to n=2M, continuing.

Hi Retep,
Thank you for your message. I was about to ask you about k=51 because we have been testing it as a part of one of our drives, and it's now at about n=2.1 M. When we reach 2.5M we'll skip your range to 3.3M. Regarding LLR, I think any 3.8.x is faster and better than 3.7.x and I don't think there is a big difference among 3.8.x versions. The latest one is 3.8.6 but I'm using 3.8.4 on the majority of my mashines. Thomas is better informed than me and I asked him to help. I hope he will reply soon. Wishing you happy prime hunting! |
Hello Kosmaj,
I wish to continue with k=51 beyond n=3.3M if there is no prime in the 2.5M to 3.3M range. The 2.5M to 3.3M range will be finished before the end of 2012.. I will let you know. |
