Reserving k=67, 81 and 85.

Kosmaj 2008-09-12 00:15

Reserving 175, 215 and 229.

Reserving 149 and 179. These are low-weight, so they should go quickly.
As I stated before we consider all those reservations null and void.
these look like nice k's could i help with them?

VBCurtis 2008-09-15 05:54

Buzzo-
If you want to reserve a k, I can assist you in using the sieve programs and getting started.

If you have more patience, there are k's available that have been tested to 700k or 1M, which have a lower risk of someone else reporting a prime before you discover it.

i sent a note to kosmaj about this and he responded promptly, but after i replied to that i havent gotten a reply yet despite a reminder i sent. this whole thing seems very secretive and weird, i'm going to go ask about it over at nplb since rps is not responding.

Buzzo

I'm having a busy week and cannot reply to all messages. I suggested you several times in the past to try a few files from the 6th Drive, they are available all the time. The Ks you are asking for are being tested in a pretty unorganized manner, I cannot recommend you to join the mess.

k=11 available?

Since I don't have access to the k<300 status page (a.k.a. "riesellist.htm") on 15k.org, I'd like to know whether k=11 is already reserved by someone else or not. Quite a while ago I tested this k all the way up to n=1.5M and released it to the public afterwards. Now I'm thinking of a new run on k=11...

Thanks for the quick reply!
As I can see, Curtis is currently working on k=11. So I'll stay with k=113...
