I remember seeing that in the form of steaming video many months ago, but being on 56k it looked and sounded very bad.

yeah we are still on steam power out here :) . I got a locomotive sitting outside right now :rolleyes: . I wonder if the dirty power affects my Prime95 results :confused: .

I fixed that whole steaming video on my screen. Now it goes outside.

We also don’t have any telephones, so i have a special type of modem that is able to go over a telegraph system. Then all of our returning data comes down a little stream in our front yard. It's a cleaver idea, but latency on downstream data is quite bad :) and many packets are lost.

Locals are just beginning to hear of this thingy called the Internet and how it’s going to change da world :rolleyes: . They are always wondering what these magic boxes all over my house are :) . They have never heard of a computer before :confused: .
