Let's try port 7000. Thanks Victor.

Tomorrow I will try another port.

Another address to test. Tomorrow my IP will change and by what I read at my provider page, the following address automatically adjusts the IP. Let's see what happens.

server = "carloseduardo.dynip.telepac.pt"
port = 9000

Currently we are not running a LLR net server because some of us cannot use it (fire-wall, machines not connected to Internet etc). Also, reliability of results can be compromised because AFAIK harware and other errors reported by LLR are not sent to the server, only residues. Then, somebody has to check for numbers taken for processing but never returned, and so on. Finally, I prefer to feed my own clients according to their cpu's, specially in case of dual machines it's better to run only one large candidate (with more than about 1M bits).

But if there is still an interest in LLR net I can see with SlashDude can we host one on 15k.org.

That address has a DNS entry of 127.0.0.1, so it's not going to work.

Is this LLRNet server still up and running, with work available?
