New data page

1 Attachment(s)
Hello all,
when I began to search for primes, I found some sites in big www. But the information are spreaded wide and not actual enough.
I did some work that someone else did before, so call it doublecheck! I noticed, that I'm not the first one here!
Therefore I decided to collect data from some sites and from this forum and I got the page from www.15k.org as master and with some work (reduced unnecessary html code/tags, colored type of k-value, last update, number of primes, etc...) there is now one site with (actual) 135kByte and even more information form statistics/low weight/riesel!

Work to do:
-infos from many other threads of this forum/archived forum
-infos from CHOOSE A CANDIDATE and 15k not complete
-infos from contributers about missing (low) primes
-all links to Top5000 like k=15!?

Complete:
-Low Weight Stats Page
-Original Riesel Search Problem

not to implement because it's to big:
-Riesel Numbers <300 (some exceptions)
-PrimeSearch-Page

Hope the site is self-explaining
Please let me know if this page is worth to be continued.
Also welcome are suggestions/corrections.

BTW: I detected that from the Riesel Prime Search the number
401143*2^532927-1 was not in the Top5000!

To VBCurtis,Kosmaj:
I decided to include the last update for the k, to see it clearly without search a whole thread.

New data page

Nice page! I'll put it on the server on the next occasion, probably tomorrow.
But some limits are a bit outdated, for example k=15. You can consult our k<300 stats page for some updates.

I'll also start a new thread to list up all our stats pages at one place as they are now scattered in several threads. Cedric told me about difficulties to navigate our forum and I told him I'd something but so far I did nothing

Sure, I know some data quite old or not up to date. I collected not all threads out of this forum but the one with the most k's (low weight and riesel). I could update this page every day (at work ;-)) and try to collect data from other threads the next days. Please let me know (every one) if it's errorfree because i like correct data to avoid duplicate work for anyone.
Are there any suggestions to make this page better?
Meanwhile I update and extend it.
Karsten

Karsten

I uploaded your page here.

Let me know when you have next update ready. Thanks.

hi all,
a new data page with more updates is available at
http://www.15k.org/SummaryK-values.htm with last edit from 18. april.
i changed the html-name because this site contains more than only low weight k's.
the last days i included the archived thread and the primes-pages from
amphoria.
i'll send the new site to kosmaj when i have more updates in there.

BTW: please send me errors/corrections in reservation/n's prime or others to make it complete and precise.

I am updating my status every n=10000 here.

I just uploaded a new version of the SummaryK-values page maintained by Karsten. One of new features is a "quick link" table to first k=c*10^n, where 1<=c<=9 is given in respective columns and 10^n in rows, 4<=n<=10. So if you want to see K's at 5M level, you select the one in column 5 corresponding to 10^6!

Possibly there are other new features which I couldn't discover at first glance. I hope Karsten will tell us more soon.

hello all,
yeah, i try to handle this page more easier for everyone.
so the next idea is to implement bookmarks for every k therefore anybody can link his own k to see it at one sight.
the idea to link every prime n of any k to the Prime Database like done for k=15 is too heavy because the code will explode and the download time is too long.
on the other hand i need more information of everyone to complete the list of primes especially low n. there are many holes i could'nt fill (marked with
"(...)" or "(?)"). please look at your data and help to fill these gaps.
it's quite hard to collect all correct data: for example the Riesel Sieve Project found a new prime 342673*2^2639439-1 with 794556 digits (at rank 20 now)
but this prime was not mentioned on their home page. i found this by watching the status at primes.utm.edu! this prime is in the next update.
if anybody has other ideas please let me/us know.
Karsten

Thanks to Karsten's hard work, a new version of the SummaryK-values page is now available. We are also working on a new version of the RPS home page from where all other pages will be accessible in a more organized way.

hi all,
i update almost every day the summary of k-values but i haven't got access to upload it to 15k.org by myself and the last data is from May 15, 2007 and many new features/new data are in this page last then.
i splitted the page into two: one for 300 < k < 3010 and the second for k>3010.
new features:
- every reserved k with bookmark-function
- checked/included every relevant k from Top5000 (April 02, 2007 until today)
- all primes from old Top5000-project 15k-search
- all primes from Peter Benson, Thomas Ritschel, actual 15k project included

need more information if there're errors or missing/false reservations!!!
see attachment for more details.

greets
karsten
