oh btw, i notice many exponents in the orphanage (on team prime rib page) are completed ... maybe it couldn't update due to the migration?
btw, "Countdown to testing all exponents below M(24036583) once: 13" (i have one of those exponents :) )

Well the orphanage was v4 driven and has not been updated since v4 went down. The first time tests from the orphanage that have been completed were either done by me or were poached!

The entire range of 33.219.127 up to 34.403.203 has been tested at least once and all exponents have at least one LL-test with an error code 0. Therefore a range of 1.184.076 has been cleared. All 10M+ digits exponents up to 34.800.911 have been tested at least once, a range of 1.582.114, but some of them have non zero error codes and will be taken care of by the v5 server once it takes over the ranges currently still assigned to the now defunct v4 server.
This is correct. As soon as I've walled off for 90 days exponents that were manually reserved by e-mail and exponents assigned by the v4 server that have yet to be claimed on the v5 server, then I will open up all exponents for testing. Expect this within a few weeks.

The v5 server will automatically assign needed triple checks. It will also reassign as first time tests those exponents with suspect error codes on the LL test.
when is the 90 days up
i remember you saying it was in January but i cant remember what day

starrynte 2009-01-07 03:40

Prime95 2009-01-07 04:09

That should be 90 days from the date of the post (Dec 6)

CRGreathouse 2009-01-07 04:12

That's March 8.

so it not up???

Prime95 2009-01-07 15:23
so it not up???
Correct. I want to give those transitioning from v4 a decent amount of time to complete their assignments before yanking the assignment from them.

starrynte 2009-01-08 01:36

But the assignments from v4 that have not been updated are already reserved (until March 8, if they did not comm with the server until then), so you can safely assign yourself an exponent.
That's March 8.
Dec 6th + 90 days = March 6th.

Depends if George meant exactly 90days or 3 months.
