Hmm, you were involved in QA, and the company is going in a different direction. That might not bode well for their customers. I think I've seen this play out before.
Indeed. Is your previous employer ISO 900x certified? |
Indeed. Is your previous employer ISO 900x certified?
I couldn't find any mention of ISO 9001 certification. So I'm guessing the answer is no. |
Oh, woe is me, my life is a misery. Oh, can't you see that I'm well into a pretty big downer.
Madness takes its toll, but not for very much longer. I have become uncomfortably numb. At least SWMBO appears to have had very successful day surgery today. |
I have become uncomfortably numb.
Yeah, I resonate. Me too... My right leg either hurts or is numb because of a pinched nerve in my back and pelvis. Driving a car with the left foot is rarely advised (I'm actually using cruse control to not have to press the accelerator, and the left foot and the hand break to stop)...
At least SWMBO appears to have had very successful day surgery today.
So, then, there was some upside in your world today...? |
As nothing compared to many of your complaints, but today has been a whole lot more gastric than it would have been in the best of all possible worlds: my body has demonstrated four times since 1pm that it can’t keep water down :(

That sounds uncomfortable and frustrating - hope you start to feel better soon! |

I hope it's nothing worse than the "24-hour stomach flu." That comes on fast and doesn't let you keep anything down, but it leaves just as quickly after just about 24 hours. If you still can't keep even water down beyond 24 hours, you should probably seek medical attention. Dehydration is nothing to trifle with. |
Tom,
May I suggest if you take Dioralyte Natural 6 Sachets (google it). This will help you a little bit but go see your GP. Also you need to rest, you’ll feel very very tired. Carlos PS(last time I was like that I had caught a bacteria from food poisoning in a pub, salmonella Mississipi. Previous to this another one in Recife Brazil.) |
One of our kittens is dying...

Decaf, our beloved 16 year old "kitten" has been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer.
He's barely eating, skinny as heck. We don't suspect he'll survive more than a few more days. Tomorrow my gardener guy and I will dig a grave for him, beside Biscotti. We're all into quality of life. We purchased a rotisserie chicken for him today which he loves and wolfed down (~5 cc), but then he passed out beside the water dish. I suspect that Monday or so the vet will have to come by our home, for a very sad but very painless (for him) exit.... I'm including two pictures of "Diddles" from only last year. I'm not taking pictures of him now because I don't want to be reminded of how much body-mass he's lost. |
Lottie, our rescue chicken, died a week ago while we were still in La Palma. She was about 4 years old and we'd given her a good life after being made redundant from the farm where whe had lived n a cage. She had been nursed through two serious illnesses but the third was terminal.

Diddles died last night (in his sleep). Buried him this morning. |
