On behalf of a friend who also runs GIMPS, I am posting this:

...your house is robbed. You are a multi-millionaire on vacation and rush home. The first question you ask the police is, "Did they take my PrimeNet farm?"

...you take out a second mortgage to buy more nodes.

PrimeCruncher 2004-01-17 13:57

A water pipe in your house bursts. A room is flooded with water, and your first concern (despite the fact that there are MANY signed, first-edition books in it) is for the computer (despite the fact that it does not run Prime95)!

--guilty-- :surrender

kwstone 2004-01-28 04:03

...you germinate the seedlings for your garden using the warmth generated from your Prime95 farm. (Waste not, want not!)

--guilty--

Pablo the Duck 2004-01-28 07:08

...you come home from work to find that your wife has taken to drying off damp clothes by hanging them in your computer room.

--guilty--

(P.S. my seeds haven't germinated yet.)

You design a version of Prime95 that runs on human brains. You install it onto your brain, then program it to run whenever you are asleep. You are pleased when all your dreams from then on become sequences of multi-million digit numbers.

Uncwilly 2004-01-28 13:25

Do we have to use the manual check in page for that? Can you start a thread with the code? :geek:

kwstone 2004-02-01 06:55

...you know what your pxxxxxxx files sound like! (see this thread http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=2019)

Or on the brains of livestock!

Uncwilly 2004-02-17 23:22

you have ever bumped a thread.

MrHappy 2004-02-17 23:30

... you get an old P133 up and running LMH work in 2004

Wow, I haven't had to update my Word document with all these replies in eons! ...or at least it seems that way (last replies were only 2 wks ago).

C'mon people! Post more stuff! This has to end with a 47 reference; I can't make a 47 reference out of the number 240! (Though I suppose I could look at character counts, word counts, etc, etc...)
