It looks like Massachusetts has decided to go beyond simple integer plate numbers in favor of the whole real number line. This motorist might cause some confusion at a traffic stop, particularly since his transcendental license number would preclude an officer from filling out a ticket in a finite length of time! Maybe they would have to consult with MIT...

The real question is whether it's a computer scientist or not. To most mathematicians that would be [TEX]2e^{10}[/TEX] or just under 44,053. To a complexity theorist [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2-EXPTIME]2EXP[/url] means something much bigger... we're talking 9566 digits before the decimal.
