Subscribing to announcement thread
 

Ironically, it's locked so we can subscribe for it, but the software is not allowing me to subscribe to closed threads. Is there any way to disable this?

I can't test this atm. I can subscribe just fine, but this may be due to having moderator status. I've registered an extra account without special permissions but it's not confirmed yet - due to recent events, we restricted rights of new users and they don't get full access to all the board functions immediately.
