PRP results not credited to CPU.
I'm a relatively new user and had a PRP task complete yesterday. The communication thread showed an error and the result was not credited to my cpu. I have tried manual communication within the Prime95 application, but it contacts the server, and sends the interim result for the current assignment, but doesn't seem to do anything else. When checking my cpu status in my account, it shows a negative number for the "days to go" for the current assignment, so it seems to be out of regular communication with the server? "Do not contact Primenet server automatically" is deselected in Prime95 Manual Communication Options.
How can I reestablish contact to the server to submit the recent result which was not credited? |

"late" messages and no activity update but updates are happening
I'm running 29.8 build 6 on Linux. My prime.log says I'm sending results:

How can I reestablish contact to the server to submit the recent result which was not credited?
Welcome to GIMPS! You are unlucky enough to arrive at a time when a lot of changes are being made to the server. I goofed on one of those changes which caused your problem. Log on to mersenne.org, go to https://www.mersenne.org/manual_result/ and copy the contents of results.json.txt to the page and submit your result. Alternatively, email results.json.txt to me and I'll take care of it. Sorry for the trouble, George |

Yep, my former "lost assignments" problem seems mathemagically fixed too! :tu: Thanks. |
