I think I will stop running for now.
You could instead run in offline mode, if you like: "do not contact PrimeNet server automatically". |
Something sure is out of place. I am getting HTML in mprime's console when it tries to send a result. I think I will stop running for now.
That's pretty much what happens when the server is unreachable. Keep on crunching. |
You could instead run in offline mode, if you like: "do not contact PrimeNet server automatically".
At first, I did not see the file mprime.spl. It appears results are placed here when the server is not reachable. I knew Prime95 did this with a similar name. The default retry interval in mprime is 70 minutes. There is nothing specific in the configuration, prime.txt or local.txt.
That's pretty much what happens when the server is unreachable. Keep on crunching.
I have already restarted. |
Assigned results (not Manual) timing out for 10 hours now.
OK, not as bad as first thought... TF assignments below 99xxxxxx that had an unverified first-time LL/PRP test got axed (in other words exponents that need a DC).
Wow. Thought you made a bad mistake but were mistaken. Even your mistakes are high quality. Thanks for the unneeded-TF-assignments-blocking-progress cleanup. |
BTW all other computers and the GPU from this computer continue to report normally
There's definitely something broken on Primenet... My twelve (12#) Colab sessions, and my two P-1'ing boxes, are all seeing timeouts and/or 500 errors more often than successful comms... |
Based on the error logs something is unhappy with the database since about 0130h UTC today, so for the last 16 hours or so. I assume George or Aaron will need to restart SQL.

Server finally communicated but FACTOR result rejected.

I'm not wise in the way of managing a Windows Server. But Aaron seems to be offline, so I've tried restarting the SQLServer service. Fingers crossed, the problems will go away.
