I also got "result not needed" when submitting the other 198 "no factor" results.
DAMN!!! DAMN!!! DAMN!!!

Any response from our "friend" on this?

Just so you (and everyone else) know, GPU72 will detect when a candidate reserved by it has been TF'ed "off-the-books", and so won't hand out such assignments, but it can't "recall" assignments once issued.

Looks like I accidentally counted one results file twice. I actually meant 116 results. D'oh!

I just contacted Niels again today and am hoping for a response.
PrimeNet is rejecting a factor I found:

Could George or someone please insert them into the database (or delete Niels_Mache_Nextcloud's poached results) for me?

If it's not convenient for you to do so, then it's completely understandable, but do let me know if this is the case.

I also got "result not needed" when submitting 116 other "no factor" results. PrimeNet still accepted them but didn't give me any CPU credit. It's not a big deal, but I would appreciate it if you could correct the GHz-days. Please see the two attached results files. Again, if it's not practical, then please let know.

Thanks!
It's been 11 days, and this still hasn't been rectified. Why is this so difficult?

On the bright side, I was able to get credit for the other 116 results by factoring to 75 bits and then submitting them as "2^73 to 2^75" lines. So no need to fix those.

It requires hand crafted SQL statements applied to the database.

I can fairly easily change anonymous credit to a specific user -- but that is not the case here.

I cannot log into the server to even attempt any manual database changes until I return from vacation in mid-March. Even then this would not be a high priority item. Sorry.

Hi George, I understand. Thanks for getting back to me.

Are other people seeing Account summary page load incompletely? Lots of numbers, but no pie charts. It's affecting some other pages too. Seems to relate to translate.googleapis.com taking forever.

Correct here too.

kriesel 2020-04-11 11:36

Here too; transient. After I posted earlier I noticed it was an issue also with other non mersenne pages.
