So the five exponents have evidently all been finished by "hkt" already. The question remains: Why do his v4 assignments show up in my account, and why is this phenomenon seemingly new?
Those assignments all finished, correct? I can't see anything now with any assignments to you besides the machines that I'm pretty sure you're aware of (and the "manual testing" computer). I don't see a v4_computers machine name for your account at all, so I'm not sure why that would have shown up for you, but sometimes the legacy v4 stuff is more squirrely to dig into. I might just be missing something, but if you linked your v4 and v5 accounts like you said (and I didn't see any evidence of that), I should have found it. If you want to private message me any info if this happens again (screenshots or just a list of whatever exponents are showing up in your assignments that shouldn't be there) I can look at it in more depth. |
It's correct that these assignments are all finished. It would be incorrect if you did not see a v4_computers in my account.
My accumulated v4 credit is a whopping 2100.4 GHz-days (not quite 4 years worth anymore) and that figure never changed again after I linked the accounts, but it was always displayed (and it still is). Actually, thinking about my v4_computers, some years ago it displayed an LL test on some exponent in the 42M range (I think) as the current assignment which certainly wasn't mine either. The assignment simply expired at some point since I didn't feel like unreserving it. Other than that, no current assignment was ever displayed prior to these TF-LMH assignments. |
Active Assignments page
There is a bug on the Active Assignments page : in some circumstances when one excludes certain types of assignments TF are not shown anymore.
For instance a query of exponents between 52299977 and 53000000 excluding first time and double check assignments : https://www.mersenne.org/assignments/?exp_lo=52299977&exp_hi=53000000&exdchk=1&exfirst=1 https://www.mersenne.org/assignments/?exp_lo=52299977&exp_hi=53000000&exdchk=1&exfirst=1 returns nothing. Removing the exclude double-check condition returns DC AND TF assignments : https://www.mersenne.org/assignments/?exp_lo=52299977&exp_hi=53000000&exfirst=1 : https://www.mersenne.org/assignments/?exp_lo=52299977&exp_hi=53000000&exfirst=1 Jacob |
I guess that the double-checks that show in the second case have all been already assigned, that's why they don't appear in the first query.
The query on that page is designed to show only currently assigned exponents.
The fact is that if one excludes double check assignments, the factoring assignments are excluded as well. Jacob |
[STRIKE]I'm getting a 403 error with a weird message when trying to connect to PrimeNet.[/STRIKE] This seems to be a problem on my end. All my other computers work fine.

In looking at the coms log of one of my machines (that sits behind a proxy), I noticed this (IP's masked):

In the "Prime95 version 29.6" thread there are reports that factors for [M]350249[/M] and [M]351457[/M] weren't parsed correctly.
The factors are added to the database, but the History line is blank and the factors don't appear in Recent Cleared. It might be a server problem. |

If you're still having this problem, PM me and we can try to figure out what's what. I think "403" is "forbidden" and I can make sure your IP address didn't wind up on any blacklists. Probably not, but that's the only thing I could think of, server side. The static list of blacklisted IP's on there is pretty small, but there are some that wound up there as a result of "interesting" behavior from people. Not saying you would have though. LOL |

I didn't see the factors being found by ECM that were now sending results with JSON. Fixed... apparently I'd missed some previously (28 of them since the first one came in back in January). Finding factors with ECM is rare enough, at least by people running 29.5 / 29.6, that I missed those. |
Recently cleared missing some results
At least one recent P-1 result does not show on the "Recently Cleared Not Prime" page.
The only particularity is that the factor for [m]90838679[/m] was composite. Jacob |
