It's not as if there's a shortage of candidate numbers.
I'm a bit wary of releasing long-reserved numbers when I've personally had two out for nearly a year, but I've emailed Justin to ask if I should unreserve his number; he submitted two factors this April.
Justin's email address bounces, so anyone who thinks red bold text is so irredeemably ugly as to be worth several CPU-days to remove, go for it. fivemack: I'm doing it. Looks like four evenings @ 1 c2q/3000 |

Update posted --- 1002 composites
And now without pre-counted chickens:
979 numbers available for reservation; 21 reserved Tom
An update is being uploaded to as I type. There were many new factors reported since the last update, but not quite as many as implied by Tom's claim above. According to my count, there are still 1002 composites remaining. Either I've lost some email or some factors have been reported to Tom's reservation site and not also reported to me. The page at http://www.leyland.vispa.com/numth/factorization/anbn/main.htm now contains a link to Tom's and a request to send me a copy of any results submitted there. Tom: please mail me a copy of your recent reports of factorizations (fo the last month, say) and I will try to track down some of the AWOL factors. My thanks to all the people devoting their time and effort to this project. Paul |

Tom has now mailed me his recent data. Paul |
I believe so, though my cut&paste may have been too erratic.
Tom has now mailed me his recent data. Paul
That data file unearthed another 13 factors from the period 2009-08-29 to 2009-09-02. Kay Shoenberger and Erik van Dijk found one each and the rest were the work of Dmitry Domanov. When the updated files are posted we'll be closer to reality, but please inform me of any other errors and omissions. Thanks Tom! Paul |
Is Chen Wang working on the C97 from 9,8,205+? He has had it reserved for three weeks.
