A p50 with B1 = 3e6? Wow!
Is that good? |
Is that good?
Let's put it this way: if you ran 200,000 curves with that B1 in gmp-ecm 6.1.3, you would still expect to miss that factor 1 time in 3. So it's a pretty rare find with that B1... |
Paul,
ECMNET server is down. Carlos |
Paul,
ECMNET server is down. Carlos
I just logged in and found that the machine had been up for 18 minutes and that the server is now running. Thanks for letting me know, but as it's not my machine there's very little I can do other than contacting Phil Carmody --- the guy who hosts the server. Paul |
Thank you Paul. Just for fun I added 4 cores.
Phil mailed me a few minutes ago. A storm took out the power to his apartment while he was out. He rebooted everything when he returned.

Updated tables
A new update is loading as I type.
11 new factorizations, 10 of them complete. There's a juicy C118 if anyone fancies it. There are now 215 composites remaining in the tables, which should be enough to keep you busy for a little while. Paul |
