My test-sieving covered 1k blocks for half a dozen Q's spread out every ~10M from 8M to 80M, similar to what I usually do. Update
The following are all factors reported to me since the last update, through Dec. 26th. The website is currently down, but as Paul said, its underlying data has been updated, so whenever it comes back up it will reflect the information here. The reservation service and ECMnet server have been updated as well. In a sense, the best comparison would be with a GNFS-175, since that represents the largest possible size for a composite that has an SNFS difficulty of 175. If sieving with an octic is still unfavorable in that comparison, then that suggests that using octics for numbers of this size is never worthwhile. That would be a shame. |

Hi Paul, I do believe it’s down. Whilst on annual leave I did login to my father in law ISP provider account and there was no option to host webpages. Sorry. |
