I'm running this factorization mostly out of stubbornness at this point. I've sieved Q=13-88M, with about 163M raw relations found. Sec/rel is more than double what it was at the outset, so it'll be a couple more weeks on half a 6-core i7.
I still expect to be able to compare to GNFS-170 time, but I don't expect the comparison to be favorable!

When I get back to my father in law home I’ll doublechek if I can use their internet provider to host this project webpage.

The following are all factors reported to me since the last update, through Dec. 26th. The website is currently down, but as Paul said, its underlying data has been updated, so whenever it comes back up it will reflect the information here. The reservation service and ECMnet server have been updated as well. Any factors reported since the 26th will appear in the next update, though you can see them in the ECMnet server now, and they (or their absence) are reflected in the reservation service.

There are 53 factors shown here, and as of this update, there are 1501 composites remaining in the tables.

Thanks for the update. This is interesting (and disappointing) information. In a sense, the best comparison would be with a GNFS-175, since that represents the largest possible size for a composite that has an SNFS difficulty of 175. If sieving with an octic is still unfavorable in that comparison, then that suggests that using octics for numbers of this size is never worthwhile. That would be a shame.

Hi Paul, I do believe it’s down. Whilst on annual leave I did login to my father in law ISP provider account and there was no option to host webpages. Sorry.
