Yet another GIMPS FAQ
 

I have finally managed to add a searchable GIMPS FAQ to my site. I am sure that I have missed out a lot, but with the php database backend and admin tools, it should be easy enough to fix that. BTW: Any suggestions for new or ammended FAQ will be gratefully received.

The FAQ can be found here: [url=http://ws9.jobnegotiator.com/html/faqman/index.php]The Prime Monster FAQ[/url]. The site is coded in XHTML and CSS, and [u]YES[/u], I am aware that it can cause problems with certain browsers and also old browsers :? .

Other parts of the site are still in development, so don't scream too much if you find things that do not work.

I hope that you all knew all the stuff that I had put in the FAQ, - well of course you did, didn't you ? Otherwise it would have been a very big waste of space to try to provide an FAQ for the knowledgeable would it not?

Or, maybe ?, Could this idiot be wrong ? - Well, yes - anyone can be wrong! Can't they? You tell me !!!!

Anyway, I would be very pleased if you (or someone you might know) could correct me (and the FAQ), so that I could provide the correct information to people who are looking for it.

How about using Advanced/Time on 75,000,000 to determine how fast your machine is on a 4096K FFT?

How about merging "the definition of prime" with "basic properties of primes"

I had just restarted the server and lost the database :( - fixed it though - I hope :)

The given link works again. :) Prime Monster, can the link I mentioned work as an alternate / backup resource while you're building the Homepage / FAQ?

Yes, you can. The alternate link is for my development machine, so I can't guarantee that it will always be functioning, but it will contain the same FAQs.
