1003*2^482655-1 is confirmed prime (I re-found it just now, but according to both the [URL="http://www.rieselprime.org/Summary00300.htm"]300<k<2000 page[/URL] on rieselprime.org, it was already found by a guy called Hedges back in 2004). :smile:
A little disappointing to find that the prime was already found after the initial rush of excitement on seeing it in my results file (it would have ended a long personal dry spell for me, had it been new), but alas, that's what happens when people search k's in a hodgepodge way as was done with k=1003. :sad: |
