I want Adam's luck.
Nice run, sir. -Curtis
Thank you. I saw an unexpected concentration of primes in that run. |
I finally got access to a quad's results after 6 months, and....
99*2^1461496-1 is prime! (439957 digits) AND 99*2^1591984-1 is prime! (479237 digits) Megabit searches seem to exaggerate the dry spells, but finding a new personal-best prime is nerd-excitement at its finest. Two just doubles the fun! Just ask GIMPS. This adds over 50% to my personal score on top-5000. 160+ points by today's scoring. -Curtis |
Curtis
Huge congrats on nice primes and your new personal records!! I think you will now join us in the 46-club (by score).
That's the 4th megabit prime of k=99 although there were none in the 600-1100k interval. And 39th and 40th megabit prime by RPS. Megabit primes are there but they require patience... |
