No internet connection is needed, but if the computers form a local network, work assignment is very easy by a special program called sobistrator. We are currently in an era of change in our sieve policy, and we can need any help. There should be a way to use multiprocessor machines as well, I need to get some information. Though, the memory would not be needed. If any other project would make use of it, you should perhaps consider that.
