I actually haven't taken it down yet because I was working on another server the past couple days. I'm going to take it down today though after I finish backing up the contents. It should be back up after a few hours. I'll post when it's back up again.

I needed to do more preparation for the changes I'll be making to go smoothly, so it'll go down around midnight (UTC) for several hours. Once again, I'll post when it's up.

Okay the archive server is back up and running again. Changes were on the OS level so it should all be the same as before.

Here are the links (both point to the same place):

Hehehe I just fell into the same trap of the wrong URL. Thanks for the right one. You have a lot of data on there. If you have time some HTML page might make it look nicer than pure file downloading. eg organise files in some way rather than just archive/serve them.

Or is such minimalist approach in order to maximise cycles given to your iterations? ;-)

-_- unfortunatly i cant run prime95 on that machine its a cobalt raq2.... mips little edan. Currently im working on a system were it emails account reports hourly but i am frearful to think what people might think about putting the account name and passwords in a database which understandable so right now its just a tinker toy...

There have been a few changes my server has a index page **pats self on back**
and it allows you to sign up to have your accounts status page sent to your email <-- hopefully someone will use this
check it out soon http://mersennearchive.hobby-site.org
**goes and takes a nap**

Apparently, the tuatara.sdsu.edu server is not reachable, and has not been over the last few days. Would anyone (Delta_t, maybe?) put an eye on it?

Thanks in advance
ric

Sorry about not posting why it's down. A lot of changes have been implemented here at the university and one is a new border firewall that essentially blocked all incoming traffic to the server. Have to go through some official hoops to get it going again, so hang on for a little longer.
