I hope you weren't planning on getting anything done this (next convenient time period in your neck of the woods) evening.

The collie is particularly amazing. The pit bull puppies are just plain melt-down adorable.

Very amusing film. A lot of the behaviour is associated, in my mind, with that of small children, and it makes me think that perhaps online social media are fulfilling a human need to behave like toddlers once again.

I'd prefer people behave more like toddlers, minus the violence. I'm mildly autistic, so a world where people are "brutally" honest would simply make more sense to me and be easier to navigate.

This doesn't change the fact that I'm badly annoyed by people who change their behavior in order to "teach me a lesson."

It's like I tell people, kindness is invaluable, being nice not so much. The difference is that being nice is a learned behavior, while being kind means honestly giving a damn.

These are interesting points which I had not considered. Yes, the fact that real life communication between adults is so complex and subtle is not always a good thing, and while not diagnosed with any autistic syndrome myself I also relate to the difficulties you describe and I, too, therefore function far better online than I do face to face with people. So, while the way toddlers get on with each other is certainly different to the way adults do, I see now that it is not at all less worthy.
