School's out!
Well, college ended today for me. I survived the freshman year of UC Berkeley, and I made it out alive!
Hopefully, I did well on my finals! For those of you who are still in school, good luck and god speed on your exams! :) - Danny |
... Freshman in highschool. A freshman that doesnt get out till june 8th and has 2 projects due may 31 as well as finals june 6-8 AAAAAAAA
|
... Freshman at UCLA. The last day is June 18, and I have 5 exams between now and then (but at least two of them should be gentle).
|
...Grad student in Canada... My last day of classes was over a month ago :showoff: but I still have my thesis to work on....
|
.... Retired .... My last formal class was decades ago.
But I still have a lot to learn, ...and promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep. (With apologies to Robert Frost, 1923) |
School's out
Retired a decade ago almost, but I keep on learning every day on this forum.
 "Out out brief candle! Life is but a walking shadow! A poor player who struts and frets his hour opon the stage, And then is heard no more; . A tale told by an idiot, Full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing" Macbeth Mally :coffee: |

Dont let stress deplete your system and get all muddled up. A day or two earlier take it a bit easy. Im tempted to brag about my own results but Id rather pass Mally :coffee: |

 May I adulterate the last line? 'And smiles to go before I weep' Mally :coffee: |

Frost did that in order to convey a sense of somnolent dreaminess on the part of the narrator. (I knew that Modern Poetry class I took back in grad school would come in handy for more than picking up chicks someday... :w00t:) |
Today is my first day after finishing my finals ^_^

For some reason, I found this appropriate in my present circumstances:
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way. The time is gone, the song is over Thought I'd something more to say. Circumstances: my main disk went belly-up over a week ago and although I now have a reinstalled system and most of my files back, I also have a lot of reconfiguing to do, a lot of work to catch up on and a monitor that has lost most of its green. Everything in front of me is in various shades of red, blue and violet, though most of the icons are now dull orange instead of yellow. Paul |

Remember the LORD chatises those He loves Heb:12 "Go on; and Faith will come to you" Jean d'Alembert. Mally :coffee: |
