Doublechecking 10987349 - 11013853
I've received George's blessing. I'll be doublechecking (with P-1 where needed) all single-LL exponents in this range. That's 613 exponents, so it should keep me out of trouble for a while. I estimate I should finish in about a year.
I'm skipping the one number remaining in this range still assigned by Primenet for a first time LL test (11000347). I'm also skipping the 3 numbers in this range that I did the first LL test, so these are up for grabs: 11006923,dswanson,WY1 11009651,dswanson,WY1 11009881,dswanson,WY1 |
You may just want to ask George to feed those 3 to PrimeNet as he usually would, sometime next year.
|
Let's see if the leading edge of the doublechecks catches up to this range before I'm done. If it does, I'll be perfectly content to let George toss these 3 numbers into the pool. If not, I may do some prodding to get someone else to run them just to finish out the range.
BTW, when 11000347 does finally finish its first time LL, I intend to put it into my doublecheck queue. |

Just in case you're curious, I've studied the DC progress over the past three months, and I estimate the leading edge of the doublechecks to catch up to this range in nine to eleven months.

I'll pedal faster... :D

I've completed P-1 for all exponents in this range. I found 12 factors among the 241 exponents that hadn't yet had a P-1 check, a success rate of nearly 5%.
That leaves 586 exponents that need to be doublechecked using LL. I've finished about 30 of these already. If the server ever comes back to life I have about 10 results waiting to be reported. |
100 down, 498 to go.
From hrf.txt, I've found 6 mismatches so far between my result and the prior result. This may seem like a rather high percentage, but 4 of these were on numbers George had released for early doublechecks because they reported errors the first time around. |
200 down, 398 to go. 13 mismatches to date.
|
If you post the exponents of the mismatches here, someone might be willing to give you a hand with them. I would, except that I have work backed up into December.
|
shaneamy and I are now collaborating on this range. When one of us hits a mismatch the other will run the triplecheck. In general, though, we're waiting for George to resynch the database before we run the triplechecks so we can get credit for them (rather than having the server declare that the result we're turning in is for an already-completed exponent). In the meantime, we have plenty of other numbers to work on!
