Something odd(max n listed as 199950, not 200000)
Guys, I'm positive I entered 200,000 as the max n when I began sieving, but the sieving program and the generated file both listed the max n as 199950.
If I don't find a prime, or quit early, what should I list as being checked, 200000 or 199950? If I don't get a satisfactory answer, I'll simply assume it's best to post 199950. Thanks |
I guess all n's between 199,950 and 200,000 have been sieved out. There is no need to further sieve in that range. You can report 200k as the upper bound.
