Mersenne Primes Administrator 2004

Waiting for new PrimeNET server v5.0 I developed useful program (maybe only for me??? :-). It's name is Mersenne Primes Administrator 2004. After monthes of development it still has bugs and I will upload it only 31 of december 2004, and it will be only early alpha version. But the possibilities of MPA are huge even now:
- Managing all available primes in one database (GIMPS+LMH+BillionDigits+...)
- My Database now contains 21 million+ primes with over 5 million dividers.
- Fascinating speed of manipulating with Datas
- Unlimited action possibilities due to use of Plugins
- Easy to use script language to manipulate with datas
- All types of tests/checks over the exponents
- Database of statuses from GIMPS (2003-2004 year)
- Powerfull statistics output (Excel)
- PrimeShuffle inside
- 2 languages support
- more!!!

May I suggest having a feature so that a user can view all the exponents (not just the ones since the last synchronization) he/she has tested, in one place? Currently, I have to search through huge files to find exponents I tested before the last synchronization.

Also, how about being able to view the total number of iterations ever completed?

Keep up the good work!

Ok, Jinydu, I'll try now to add this features (future versions will have them 100%!). By now database doesn't contain info about teams/participators, it only has a place for them.

Now I have a question about how to count all the iterations:
Is it counting so: Total=Summ(once_tested_exponents)+2*Sum(double_checked_exponents)???
You can also write Your own plugin to MPA 2004. I'll give here the link to the documnet with the interface to DLL and some simple examples before Happy New Year!

I would think that the formula would be:

Sum (first-time LL tested exponents) + Sum (double-checked exponents)

Why give twice as much credit for double-check iterations?

Ok! It will be easy feature to add!

1! Many errors still!
2. Inside: full statistics + archieve of GIMPS statuses files 1996-2005 + sample of a plugin interface in source codes.

A help file would be nice :)

HiddenWarrior 2005-01-12 06:02

Yes, sure!
I wrote some help info today: http://www.beinformed.ru/zip/mpa2005.doc
It holds only first steps before original help-file. Be free to ask me yxine@mail.ru and larin@gsmmix.ru or by ICQ: 479471

I have extra 500 MBytes space in my hosting. If the idea of holding there the data for LMH, Billion Digits and mpa.mdb will be accepted, than I'll do that possibility when will get T1-channel (this week).

Maybe the mods should move this to Programming? It seems to fall into that category more...

So, has this feature been added? And if so, how do I use it?

Thank you, and good work
