Free! Cute, cuddly in-process exponents need a good home.

I've got to shut down two of my mprime computers and I no longer have access to the third. The two have 17E6 exponents that are about 50% and 75% done. Is it worth it to try to transfer the state files to someone else? Any takers?

Yes, Garo will give them a good home... :)

Yeah if you could just email the files and worktodo entries to me at annie AT teamprimerib DOT com I can take over. Not worth wasting so much processing :)

just out of curiosity, would it be helpful if I took some of Annie's exponents? I've got quite a few computers crunching these days, and spare time to get the transfered exponents working. I considered asking before, but as I'm not in primerib (trying to convert all my machines would be a pain) I just didn't bother.

Deamiter,
Unfortunately, as you are not in TPR it will be awkward since Prime95 will unreserve the exponents. In any case, Annie is currently much slimmer than it was in December. So we are making good progress.

Thanks

I tired to email the exponent files but somewhere along the line a mail server balked at a brief e-mail with two 10MB attachments. I'll try again with separate e-mails and smaller attachments. I think I can also get the exponent files from the third computer.

Yeah try separate emails. That might work!

Don't forget to zip em up!

Every Prime95 save file I've ever Zipped gets 0% compression, and adds a coupla hundred bytes.
