There seems to be a typo on the webpage:
Level 11 Eleven Candidates to 77 bits
28 May 2009
Level 10 Ten Candidates to 76 bits
16 May 2009

INDEED! :wblipp:

And automatically to 10.4 because four exponents are already at 77 bits or higher.

I hereby break the chain to confirm we have reached Level 11. This is tied with the first transition for the quickest level transition ever.

Some folks have been using higher power CPU's.
Mwuhahaha, and almost got all but two candidates to 75 bits now.

Those other two are reserved by William and em99010pepe, I think em99010pepe may have forgotten though.

Here's a progress report, 3321928373 has finished to 75 bits with no factor, it is on the way to 76 bits now, gonna take about a month on the 1.7 GHz P4 Willamette.

The following candidates are all at 75 bits now with no factor.

3321928483
3321928601
3321928697
3321928699
3321928777
3321928927
3321928963
3321928999

3321933233

And likewise for these candidates that byroz has run:

3321931099 <-- somehow forgot to mention this one sooner
3321931381
3321931429
3321931433
3321931513
3321931531
3321931619

Since we're both nearly done on these blocks, here are some more reservations.

I'd like to take these 18 from 75 to 76 bits:

3321931819
3321931829
3321931919
3321931931
3321931967
3321931993
3321932093
3321932111
3321932123
3321932143
3321932161
3321932359
3321932443
3321932491
3321932567
3321932767
3321932869
3321932899

And byroz to take these 12 from 75 to 77 bits:

3321932909
3321932969
3321933007
3321933047
3321933089
3321933113
3321933179
3321933193
3321933233
3321933253
3321933289
3321933313

I also converted to (X)HTML and PHPified the bar chart:

That's how I noticed I missed posting 3321931099 actually.

As usual there's a live and non-live version, that first link was non-live, this is the live one that hits up the OBD stats page on every load:

Nice graph. May I add the non-live link to my OBD page?

Sure, link away. If you like I could modify the source to pull values from your database and send it to you. That would reduce processing time and server load to generate the graph.

I've updated the non-live version to be current.

I hadn't noticed that Andres Aitsen had returned 3321928171 to 77 bits, so that's thrown my numbers off, never mind, I guess there will be 25 candidates at >= 77 bits instead of 24.

I can juggle with PHP if needed, and have a table named "running" where I can pull out active ranges. If you provide me with your source code that displays the bars and the infos, I will acknowledge your effort on both download and stats pages

Meanwhile, I will add the link... thanks.

Luigi

Alright, then, gimme a little while to clean up the code, trust me when I say you don't want to try and wrap your head around it the way it is currently.

Incidentally, byroz has said that it's just too hot to have the computer crunching away, so he's not started that range. Leave it reserved though in case there's a sudden cold snap. If he's still not started it by the time I've finished the 18 I just reserved then I'll start in on it.

He has finished 3321931777 to 75 bits with no factors.

High of 83.0 F, 28.3 C
You call that hot?!
That's nothing. 83 is nice. We've had highs consistently around 100 F (37.8 C) here, with a high this week so far of 103.6 F (39.8 C). You know it's hot when stepping barefoot on concrete that's in the sun is painful from the heat.
