Indeed, this exponent has 3 factors below 75 bits. I'm going to run my newly operational GT480 card over the same ground, once, as a proof test. It should have found the smallest factor; the second one will be probably be found over next weekend (telling it to TF beyond found factors is a manual operation and I don't visit that machine daily), and it may also find the third, then I'll tell it to go on to 81 bits manually just for fun) You can track my proof testing or not on the web page; the traffic simply isn't heavy enough to create an accidental collision. |

True, but there are no plans to make that depend on which exponent is being factored...I was thinking about the extra work that might happen. 2 more days before I hit that machine again, and it wasn't exactly top priority since it is highly probably everything is OK. |
