Query for George about ERROR 3
 

Hi George,
As you probably already know, several people in my are having trouble with returning results for specific exponents. Eve though the work has been completed, when the machine contacts Primenet it gets an ERROR 3. However, the results are mostly being received at your end as they are showing up in your database.
Any ETA on a fix for this? Should we go ahead and email you the results to get credit on Primenet because we don't want to swamp you with emails in case the problem is more widespread than my experience.
Also, any ETA on when the manual pages will be fixed?

It seems that Error 3 also shows up when you using the manual results check in. I got this along with Error 3 when I tried to submit some P-1 results.

The manual forms are broken. I can accept results by email and clear the exponent from the server.

The were some spurious error 3's on September 30th. Garo, are they still happening?

Yup! The error is still there. I just communicated the result from my machine garo_mat for exponent 10801333 and it still has not gone away from the assigned list to the finished list. It did not give any error message though.

mabey its got something to do with the sync of the databases something might have changed in sync u know.

I am not getting the Error 3 but am also not able to update P-1 factoring on two numbers now (different machines). One is now up to 19MM on the LL test and still has not credited the P-1.

Beware. Pull the network plug to your farm. I just got an error 3 when checking in a result again.

Confirmed. 2 of my machines have also returned 'not assigned' error messages.
This needs to be fixed fast or we'll have a big mess on our hands.

I tried to send in a completed factor using Prime95
it said all my exponents weren't assigned to me and
gave the Error 3.

I had the same problem a couple of hours ago when manually updating the status of some exponents. Fortunately, the exponents were not kicked out of my worktodo.ini file. I had now tried again and this time they went through without any problem.

I just got an error 3 again. This time only when updating. I successfully reported a completed exponent less than 3 hours ago, so something must have happened recently.
