In addition to the Intel Compilers for Linux, we now offer non-commercial Linux versions of the Intel® VTune™ Performance Analyzer, Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives (Intel® IPP) and Intel® Math Kernel Libraries (Intel® MKL). As a registered non-commercial user of the Intel® Compilers, you may be familiar with the qualification criteria , however, we invite you to visit http://www.intel.com/software/products/noncom/index.htm?iid=noncom+09142004& to see if you qualify for this offer and other related information about this program.
|

ICC should be more efficient than GCC towards Intel processors on plain C/C++ code. I'd like to know how it performs towards highly optimized assembly code... Luigi |
It won't make any difference on the assembly code. I'm looking forward to using VTune.
