I got my time down to below 5 hours.

An interesting glitch (?) is that if you have ~$17 at the beginning of the game with no clips in your inventory, the "Beg for More Wire" button will appear if the cost of wire is more than $17. But since the price of wire fluctuates, it can dip below $17 again, allowing you to buy wire and progress without needing to beg for it.

After converting the entire universe into paperclips and dismantling your factories, the "Beg for More Wire" button will still be there, and clicking on it will say "Budget overage approved" (!). You'll then get over 170,000 inches of extra wire, but you cannot convert more than 100 inches of it into paperclips. The number of inches will still continue to decrease, but the display will never show more than 30,000,000,000,....,000 paperclips.

The credits show that it is a [URL="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Paperclips"]sleeper hit (from 2017)[/URL].

I finished a fresh run in under 4 hours (3:33:36 total time) :smile:

An interesting side game is seeing how fast you can get through stage 2 and 3 if you took your time on stage 1 to accumulate yomi, creativity, etc. My stats were:

Stage 1: 5h 38m 53s
Stage 2: 6h 1m 36s (~23 minutes)
Stage 3: 7h 5m 6s (~1 hour 3 minutes)

Fascinating. I guess I am hooked for now. How do you reset it? :smile:

I used incognito mode in Chrome. If that doesn't work, try clearing cookies, cache, and history.

What? I missed so much. I released the hyno drones and the game reset to initial state. So I assumed that was it.

Investment and selling paperclips is gone from the UI.

Basically I can only watch it accumulate OPs and creativity and play for yomi.

So that is correct? Did I miss a message?
