Prime95 Troubleshooting on Windows 11
 

When stop the PRP test in Prime95 using Windows 11, it shows

Error writing FFT data named x, state 23, to PRP save file
Erno: 2 No such file or directory
DOSerrno: 2

In write-gwnum, unexpected gwtogiant failure, retcode -1

How do I change the setting to avoid this problem? The program seems to have the hard time to write to the residue file.

Thanks for some of James Heinrich's helps from the private messages, I figured out the problem myself. Windows 11 needed to be completely updated, then the error disappeared.

I don't know exactly why, but if someone walked through of details the Windows 11 history, please explain to me.
