PRPs on an Nvidia GeForece GTX970
Is there any software that can run PRPs (with proofs) on a GeForece GTX970? CUDALucas only does LLs, and GpuOwL's readme mentions it's meant for AMD GPUs. Anything else I can use?

No, gpuOwl works just fine on Nvidia too, as long as it supports OpenCL (which I think is originally an AMD feature, but the newer Nvidia GPUs have it too - newer meaning 2010 and later, according to what I found). Simply put, AFAIK it doesn't have a reason to not work with your GPU. |
Oh, cool. Going to try it out then soon as I finish the current batch of TFs. Thanks.

So if I understand correctly, GpuOwL has to be compiled from the github page? There are no precompiled binaries?

There are, at least for Windows. Kriesel kindly compiles them and posts them in a thread here. |

Thanks. I'm actually running Linux Mint though. I should have some free time this weekend to play around with compiling them. |

please give us a gpuOwl benchmark for your card in this thread https://www.mersenneforum.org/showpost.php?p=576140&postcount=2697 |
OpenCL (which I think is originally an AMD feature,
OpenCL, as unbelievable as it seems, was originally an "Apple feature", but lurking in the dark for a while until Intel decided to support it in their new multicore processors. AMD liked it too, and it was the third or the forth big player coming to the fry. Nvidia joined a way later. |

This gpuOwl linux binary is with proofs and still with LL-tests and is well tested, give it a try with LinuxMint if you want. https://www.mersenneforum.org/showpost.php?p=556311&postcount=40 |
